Essential Gear originated in 2020 when the Covid-19 Influenza first lockdown Australia.
The owners were both affected by reduced hours in work and cuts in wages, we decided to look for alternate ways of filling the gap, and then Essential Gear came to life.
Jim was a boy from the bush, who loves both fishing, camping and 4WD activities. Spending every chance either out on the water or in the bush relaxing away from the inner city life.
Online shopping became an obvious option to share all things outdoors that every fisherman and campers can benefit from.
